The girls at Songbird Avenue have done it again with a new kit that is just gorgeous - they’re celebrating their first birthday - that’s 12 kits these girls have kindly made for us with all of the proceeds going to charity - and they’ve raised a ton of money for some great causes!

This month’s proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation who are supporting those fighting breast cancer.

Final lesson in Jessica Sprague’s Digi in Deep course - and wow was that difficult! We learnt how to extract a photograph - and were meant to take a picture against a white sheet to make things easy - but I chose to cut us out of a carousel full of horses! *lol*

I had to choose new papers here as the ones in the lesson didn’t go with my photos - that seemed to take an age too - but I think the final layout looks ok!

The journalling is from the Apache Wedding Blessing that my brother read during the ceremony.

Week 3’s class was meant to be an About Me page - but I’m determined to scrap these wedding pictures so I used some artistic license so I could use these shots instead. The whole page took three hours to complete! The longest part by far was creating the part on the right with the frames revealing the colour in the photograph.
I’m please with how it turned out

Here’s the results from lesson 2 - Jess showed us how to create our own papers, blend photos together and how to use some of the great filters PS has to help adjust colour casts on photos.

The second assignment for week 1 was to create a layout using the skills we had learnt - I’ve already scrapped this photo but think this layout is much better

I’ve signed up for Jessica Sprague’s Digi: in Deep class and this is the result of lesson 1! I’m determined to finish this wedding album and get it printed - and with the help of Jess’ lessons I think it’s going to be an awesome book

I was all set to create another complicated page - but I kind of like the simplicity of this. My brother David took the photo on the beach at the Polynesian after the wedding - I’ve had a play with the photo - blurring the background and upping the contrast - then just added some brushes to decorate :0)
