If you have a High School Musical fan in your family then this may be the perfect Christmas gift for them. The High School Musical 3 soundtrack is a two-disc edition which includes a 13-track CD with all of the songs from the movie, and a DVD with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this Box Office smash hit movie.
If the Box Office takings are anything to go by ($43m on opening weekend) then High School Musical fever is still alive and well; and guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can now experience the updated show: High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Right Here! Right Now!
The rolling stage concept has been kept and there are a total of 14 cast members performing in the show. The red, white and black costumes sported by the cast are very East High, but also very Mickey Mouse.
Anyone hoping for the familiar songs from the first two Disney movies will be disappointed as the songs are all from the most recent film, which seems odd as not everyone will have made it to the cinema to see HSM 3, and the songs from the first movie are instantly recognisable.
If you’re a big HSM fan then you might be lucky enough to actually take part in the show as their is some audience particpation at times.
Sounds like it’s one to look out for while you’re in the park.
In this latest High School Musical 3 movie trailer the cast talk about the impact of the series and the big screen debut.
The movie opens on October 24, 2008 in movie theatres and stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Matt Prokop, Justin Martin, Jemma McKenzie-Brown and Olesya Rulin.
