US readers should put August 3 in their diaries as the date that the Muppets make a return to US television screens in their new half-hour, music-filled sketch comedy show: Studio DC: Almost Live.
“Disney Sing It is the only karaoke game on the market that enables friends to compete and sing to current hits from today’s top Disney artists,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. “Families are demanding quality games for their home consoles, and Disney Sing It delivers a great karaoke experience paired with genuine music videos from today’s favorite Disney properties and artists in a fun, social game for playing with friends, at parties or on family game nights.”
The game will be available on all major consoles and feature:
35 songs
multiplayer modes - including duet, player versus player and team play
vocal exercises to help improve your singing skills
New songs and bonus content will be available on the Xbox Live and Playstation Networks
If you’re looking for some light entertainment during the Holiday season then this might be worth adding to the list.
High School Musical 3: Senior Year will be the first of the HSM franchise to hit the big screens on October 24, 2008. Visitors to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to see the new sidewalk show reflecting the movie’s songs and storyline, which will arrive in the park on the same day of the movie release.
The current show High School Musical 2: School’s Out will go dark on September 13. According to spokesperson Zoraya Suarez the new show will have the same energy as the current one but will feature a new set, costumes - and of course new songs.
If you’ve not yet seen the trailer for the new movie check out the video below - I have to admit it looks quite good - better than the second movie anyway
Oh and according to the BBC - work has already begun on High School Musical 4…
