The Simpsons Ride reaches 1 million riders in the shortest time ever
By Mrs S • Jul 16th, 2008 • Category: NewsThe Simpsons Ride officially opened on May 15 at Universal Studios Orlando - and on Monday evening (July 14) welcomed it’s one millionth rider.
Dion Fenderson was on vacation from Detriot with his wife and two children when he helped Universal Studios set the record for the shortest time for an attraction to reach a million riders in the resort’s history.
The Simpsons Ride replaced the long running and much loved Back to the Future attraction - and judging by this record it looks like the new simulated roller coaster ride is set to be just as popular.
