Hilton Orlando scheduled to open in August 2009

Image via WikipediaIf you’re planning a trip to Orlando next year and you don’t want to stay at a Disney World Resort then you might be interested to hear that the 1,400 room Hilton Orlando is scheduled to open in August 2009.
Located near the Orange Country Convention Center (and the upcoming Orlando Great Wheel) the Hilton Orlando will feature seven restaurants and lounges, a full service spa and a 9-hole putting golf course. Business people can also make use of 175,000 square feet of meeting space.
A topping off ceremony is being held on July 24 to commemorate the building construction reaching the highest elevation.
If you’re interested in a central location with easy access to Disney World, Sea World and the Universal Studios resort then this might be worth a look.
