Hello – I’m Clare Swindlehurst and this is my About Me page, just in case you were wondering.

By day I might be a number in the ranks of thousands for a High Street Bank, but by night I have other interests.

First of all I’m a bookworm and I love to read whenever I get the opportunity (especially on transatlantic flights!) My husband bemoans the number of paperbacks we have cluttering up various rooms of the house, but that’s ok because I’m now transitioning to the Kindle. Secondly I am a major Disney World fan, but you probably knew that already! We always had wonderful holidays there as kids growing up, but I didn’t really become fanatical about the place until I was all grown up and took my (now) husband for the first time. Good job he took a liking to the place since we were wed on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon and are now proud owners of the Disney Vacation Club. There are many more magical vacations in our future!

When we’re not actually at Walt Disney World I love to talk to others about it, mostly via my website at Operation Pixie Dust. If you’re planning a trip then you should definitely stop by and pick up a tip or two. Or alternatively you could buy my books from Amazon, yep you read that right, little ol’ me is a published author!

Thirdly I’m a bit of a techie Geek and over the past few months I’ve been teaching myself how to design themes for WordPress. I blog about that over at Seven Somewhere just in case you’re in the market for a new website design. Lee was kind enough to let me lose on the site for his cricket club and it turned out pretty good (even if I do say so myself) you can see how his club is faring over at the Bitton Cricket Club site.

Finally, when I have any spare time left (which isn’t often) I’m still trying to master the art of photography and finish scrapbooking our photos from those Disney World holidays!
