I’m reading Cathy’s Book because… I’m in the middle of revising for an exam and need something light to read between study sessions - plus I really want to hit that 75 book target so from here on in I’m picking the shortest books on the shelf!

A boy called Pip, has a chance encounter with an escaped convict, is given into service of the ancient Miss Havisham, and comes into some great expectations which change his life for ever.

Earlier in the year I read lots of great reviews of this book - so I treated myself to a copy with some gift vouchers I received from colleagues at work. I’m also reading it for the I Heard it Through the Grapevine challenge. Of course it’s been a while so I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s about!
