Sunday Salon | Midnight Sun Draft fiasco and Library Thing

Image by *saipal via Flickr Morning Saloners - it’s been a busy week here though I haven’t read as much as I would have liked.
I’ve discovered a new Wordpress plugin that gives you live stats on your site - and it’s been quite eye opening. Yesterday was my busiest day on the site ever - because an article I posted yesterday ranked number 2 in Google for the search term Midnight Sun Draft. While I’m excited to have got to such a high position in Google I’m also dissapointed at the sheer number of people seeking out this draft. Of course, as I said in my article yesterday, questions are being asked about whether this was really a leak, or a clever publicity stunt - it’s certainly generating a lot of traffic and discussion all over the Internet.
I’ve also spent a bit of time trying to find my way around Library Thing - I profess to be quite advanced at all things Internet related but this site has me baffled - the usability experience is awful. I wanted to post a review of Jemima J. and must have spent 15 mintues clicking around and round until I finally saw a little link that allowed me to post. Do you think I could find it again for the next book? Nope. So I gave up. I’ve heard great things about LT so I’m willing to try again but I need some help - if you are a user can you post a comment and let me know what to do please - I need a dummies guide! I’d love to know more than just posting a review - what kind of functionality is there? Where are the good groups to join? How do I make the most of my membership? Please share your pearls of wisdom for me
Oh and don’t forget that today is the last day to enter the Matrimony signed paperback giveaway - head over to this post and leave a comment by midnight tonight (GMT) and I’ll draw the winner tomorrow.
Now I’m off out for lunch with my parents - Happy Sunday y’all.
