It finally arrived - my copy of Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer - and I can’t quite believe how much it resembles a brick! I’m dying to get stuck in - but I’m in a bit of a quandry. I have a four hour train journey on Monday - which will be the perfect time to read this - so I’m worried that if I start reading it now I’ll race my way through it and not have four hours worth of reading left! I’m not carrying that dead weight all the way to Birmingham and back with only a few pages left *lol*
Maybe I’ll have a sneak peek later…
[Editor's Note] I’ve finished the book - and it sure was a roller coaster ride! You can read my review of Breaking Dawn here

I read it, straight through, in about 7 hours last Saturday. I’ve read mixed reviews, but I liked it. Her writing has improved remarkably, and I loved the way it ended. Have fun!

I read it in three sittings over the weekend, i think about 9 hours in all! I’ll be interested to know what you think I didn’t love it the way I loved the first three but there were some great moments and it;s always fun to read about B&E&J!

I am a slow reader. It took me two days to read it! I did have a few issues with it, but I really enjoyed the book. I was sorry to see it end and I am hoping that Meyers will do a spin off of it with some of the other things that came into the plot.
Well, you’ve probably finished it already. I started reading it at 7am in the morning and finished at about midnight. I did run a few errands, go to the farmers market , and take care of my kids. So pretty much off and on all day.
This really was a book that needed to be read in as few sittings as possible - personally I enjoyed it - but I can see why lots of people were disappointed.
