I’ve just remembered that I was supposed to post an update about this week’s Weekly Geek challenge. If you remember we were asked to consider sharing our reviews, and posting links to other people’s reviews of the same book. I think this is a wonderful idea as I usually seek out reviews anyway to see if people shared my views, or got something from the book that I might have missed.
I’ve added a Mr Linky box to every one of my reviews and over the week had quite a few people add their reviews (well once I paid to upgrade Mr Linky that was!). Thanks to this challenge I’ve read some great reviews, met some more great book bloggers, and expanded my Google Reader list yet again!
It’s definitely something I’m going to adopt going forward so if I review a book - and you have a review on your site - make sure you put the link in the Mr Linky box.
I'm working my way through 50 books this year - and writing a review of each one as I finish it. You can share your thoughts in the comments section - or buy the books if you haven't read them yet.
