I’ve been tagged!

This morning, I was tagged by Kristen at Book Club Classics for the Six Random Things About Me meme. Thanks, Kristen!

Six Random Things About Me…

  1. I am a big Walt Disney World fan - and we are lucky enough to own a small part of the Animal Kingdom Lodge - thanks to the Disney Vacation Club programme
  2. A few years ago I discovered that I do have hidden creative talents - and love digital scrapbooking
  3. I met my husband at a costume party/pub crawl - i was dressed as a Beach Boy and he as an undead Morris Dancer - I had no idea what he really looked like until he picked me up for our first date *lol*
  4. We have two beautiful cats - Charlie and Rosie - who can sometimes drive us crazy but are lovable just the same
  5. We’ve ridden the Carousel at the Magic Kingdom at 6am in our wedding attire!
  6. When I was younger I lived in Brunei for almost three years

So, there’s a little bit about me…

That had to be almost like a blind date! My husband and I met on the internet, and although I’d seen two photos of him before we met in person, he looked SO different in each photo that I was in a similar position.

Disney World was my paternal grandpa’s favorite place, so I was lucky enough to visit many times during my childhood. The first time I saw Cinderella’s castle I burst into tears it was so beautiful (I was 30 at the time — just kidding! I was 5…).

Thanks for playing! I had never been tagged before, either — it was fun!

To me the happiest place is Disneyland/World–how lucky that you have a share there! I did this meme two weekends ago, so I’m not going to repeat it, but thanks for the tag. ;)
Trish’s last blog post..Wicked - Gregory Maguire

@dew - that’s so very brave of you - isn’t it great how technology can introduce you to your soul mate!

@Kristen - You shouldn’t kid - I get teary every time I see that castle *sigh*

@Trish - It really is The Happiest Place on Earth - step inside and forget your troubles and be a princess for the day :)
