It’s been a little while since I posted so I thought I’d best stop by and update you all. I took a break between books as I had an interview to prepare for and didn’t want to get distracted! Interview over, I’m now reading The Book of Lost Things which I am really enjoying so far - look out for a review in the next week.
In the meantime I thought I’d share some more sites for you to visit.
I was catching up on my blog reading yesterday and came across a comment by a girl called Stephanie - who likes to read and is a digi-scrapper - those being two of my favourite hobbies I decided to hop on over to her corner of the Internet and see what she had to say.
Stephanie has a wonderful site called The Written Word - dedicated to all things book related. I read some of her recent reviews and added a couple more books to my wish list Blind Submission by Debra Ginsberg and Earthly Pleasures by Karen Neches
.
Stephanie has a list of her favourite book sites on her blog so I paid some of them a visit too - and before I knew it had discovered some great new blogs and added more books to that wish list!
- The Tiny Little Reading Room - a site written by a Young Adult (YA) genre librarian - from her site I discovered The Luxe by Anna Godberson
and she was kind enough to stop by here to recommend Dream Factory by Brad Barkley and Heather Helper
- Trish’s Reading Nook - Trish takes part in many challenges so her book choices cover many genres - I’m sure I’ll discover some great books via this site
- Booking Through Thursday - this site releases a new book related meme every Thursday and I think it will be fun to take part in a few of those
- Super Fast Reader - Annie’s site looks like a great place to hang out for some book related reading
- Trashionista - I’ve been reading posts from this site for a few weeks now and they have done some great reviews - mostly chick lit. The girls also talk about books that have been turned into movies - and a feature I really enjoy where they describe their favourite heroines from books. Based on their review I just added Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson
to my wish list too
So there you have it - some more book related sites for you to check out. If you would like me to stop by your site, or you have another great reading related site to recommend, simply post the details in the comments below.
